This collection spans medieval Cistercian ruins on Hovedøya and the specialized Bergen Leprosy Museum, once the world’s center for leprosy research. Further north, the Museum of Reconstruction in Hammerfest documents the post-WWII rebuilding of the region, while Mølstertunet in Voss showcases traditional farmstead architecture through its preserved cluster of historical wooden buildings.
