Cauca Essentials

Cauca features a diverse landscape ranging from the Andean highlands to the Pacific coast. Puracé is an andesitic stratovolcano located in the Puracé National Natural Park in the Cauca Department, Colombia.

Puente del Humilladero

Built in 1873 to facilitate the ascent into Popayán's central square, this brick and lime bridge features eleven arches of varying sizes. It remains a primary architectural landmark of the city’s colonial-style historic center.
