Altai Lakes & Waterfalls

This collection features the diverse hydrological landmarks of the Altai Republic, ranging from the 160-meter Uchar cascade on the Chulcha River to the turquoise glacial waters of Kucherla Lake. Ucar

A 160-meter cascading waterfall on the Chulcha River, formed by a massive rockfall. It is the largest cascade in the Altai Mountains and is located within the Altai State Nature Biosphere Reserve.

Kamyslinskij vodopad

A 12-meter, two-tiered waterfall located near the mouth of the Kamyshla River. It is accessible via a suspension bridge across the Katun River followed by a forest trail.

Kucherlinskoe Lake

Lake Kucherla is located in the Altai Mountains and Katun Nature Reserve of Siberia.

Korbu waterfall

A 12.8-meter waterfall on the eastern shore of Lake Teletskoye. Located within the Altai Nature Reserve, it is primarily accessible by boat and features a wooden boardwalk for viewing.

Also known as Shirlak, this waterfall drops approximately 20 meters. It is located near the 759-kilometer mark of the Chuisky Trakt highway.

A 30-meter waterfall that drains the Upper Kuyguk Lake into the Lower Kuyguk Lake within the Katun Range.

A two-tiered waterfall with a total drop of 29 meters. The surrounding rock faces contain ancient petroglyphs dating back to the Bronze and Iron Ages.
