Fribourg Peaks

The Fribourg Prealps are defined by dramatic limestone formations and the 2,389-meter Vanil Noir, the canton's highest point. This selection includes the iconic Le Moléson, accessible via cable car, and the Gastlosen range, often called the "Swiss Dolomites" for its jagged ridges. These peaks provide a variety of terrain, from the accessible viewpoints above Lake Geneva and Schwarzsee to the protected alpine habitats and rare flora of the Vanil Noir nature reserve.
