Megalithic Sites of Carnac

Carnac and the surrounding Morbihan region contain the highest concentration of Neolithic monuments in the world. Dating from 4500 to 3300 BC, these sites include the famous alignments of Ménec and Kermario, which feature thousands of standing stones arranged in precise rows. Carnac Stones

Carnac is a commune beside the Gulf of Morbihan on the south coast of Brittany in the Morbihan department in north-western France.
