Antofagasta’s coastline features a diverse range of Pacific environments, from the calm, sheltered waters of Playa Juan Lopez near the Cerro Moreno peninsula to artificial swimming lagoons like Budeo. The southern sector offers rocky coves such as El Huascar and El Lenguado, which are favored for shore fishing and diving. Playa Juan Lopez
