Assisi's historical landscape is defined by its UNESCO World Heritage status and a collection of medieval fortifications. This selection features the Basilica of Saint Francis, a 13th-century pilgrimage site known for its Romanesque and Gothic architecture, alongside the imposing Rocca Maggiore and its smaller counterpart, Rocca Minore.
