Coastal Escapes
This selection highlights the diverse coastal landscapes of Central Greece, from the rugged Aegean coast of Euboea to the secluded bays of Skyros. Hiliadou offers a dramatic setting with deep waters and a mix of pebbles and sand beneath the slopes of Mount Dirfys. On Skyros, the coastline shifts to calmer, pine-fringed shores like Peukos and remote sandy stretches such as Agios Phokas. These locations feature unique natural characteristics, including the red rock formations and shipwreck at Agalipa.
Hiliadou
A wide beach on Euboea's eastern coast characterized by deep Aegean waters and a mix of sand and pebbles. It is situated at the foot of Mount Dirfys and features wheelchair-accessible facilities.
PEUKOS
A sheltered bay on Skyros island surrounded by pine-covered hills. The beach is known for its clear turquoise waters and natural shade provided by trees growing near the shoreline.
AGIOS PHOKAS
A remote sandy beach on the western side of Skyros, located near a small seaside chapel. It offers shallow waters and a quiet environment away from the island's main tourist hubs.
ANKALIPA
A secluded beach on Skyros notable for its distinctive red cliffs and a shipwreck resting on the shore. It is primarily accessed via a hiking trail or by boat.
PETRITSA
A rugged and undeveloped coastal spot on Skyros featuring clear waters and a rocky landscape. The beach is accessible via unpaved roads and offers a quiet setting for swimming.
