Makarska Religious Sites
Makarska’s religious heritage is centered around the 18th-century Baroque Co-cathedral of St. Mark and the Franciscan monastery, which dates back to the 15th century. Significant sites include the Vepric Shrine, established in 1908 within a natural cave to resemble Lourdes.
