Moquegua Essentials

Moquegua’s diverse landscape spans from the Pacific coast to the high Andes, featuring a mix of significant archaeological sites and volcanic landmarks. The region is home to Cerro Baúl, a mesa-top Wari fortress, and the Toquepala Caves, which contain rock art dating back nearly 10,000 years.
