Nature and Mountain Peaks

Nova Friburgo's landscape is defined by the high-altitude terrain of the Serra do Mar mountain range. This collection features the Pico Maior, the highest summit in the entire range, and Pico da Caledônia, which offers views of the Rio de Janeiro coastline on clear days. The surrounding districts of Lumiar and São Pedro da Serra provide access to river pools and canyon waterfalls like Poço Indiana Jones, while the city center preserves 19th-century landscape architecture at the Nova Friburgo Country Club.
