Beautiful Beaches

This collection features diverse coastal spots across the Gulf of Poets and the Cinque Terre. Highlights include the dark volcanic sands of Punta Corvo, accessible via a steep trail from Montemarcello, and the expansive Spiaggia di Fegina in Monterosso, home to the iconic 1910 Giant statue. Visitors can explore limestone rock formations at Punta Bianca or find secluded coves like Caletta di Albana. Many locations, such as Arena and Vallà, are reachable through the repurposed railway tunnels of the Ciclopedonale Maremonti.

Spiaggia di Fegina

The largest beach in Monterosso al Mare, featuring a mix of sand and pebbles. It is characterized by the 14-meter-high concrete statue of Neptune, known as Il Gigante, at its western end.

Venere Azzurra

A wide sandy beach located between Lerici and San Terenzo. It features shallow waters and views of the Gulf of La Spezia, frequently receiving the Blue Flag award for water quality.

Punta Corvo

A secluded beach featuring dark volcanic sand. It is accessible via a steep staircase of approximately 700 steps descending from the village of Montemarcello or by boat from Bocca di Magra.

Bunker

Small sandy beach located near Lerici, offering accessible shorelines and calm waters.

Spiaggia del Groppolo

A sandy cove situated along the coastline between Tellaro and Bocca di Magra, reachable via a coastal path or by sea.

Punta Bianca

Known for its distinctive white limestone rock platforms. This site at the tip of the Capo Corvo promontory is accessible via a trail from Montemarcello.

Beach Baia Blu

An inlet located between Punta Santa Teresa and Punta Galera. The bay features a mix of sand and gravel with clear waters sheltered from the wind.

Arena

A pebble beach in Framura, accessible from the Ciclopedonale Maremonti, a pedestrian and cycling path created within former railway tunnels.

Vallà

Small rocky inlet near Framura, situated along the coastal path connecting Levanto and Bonassola.

Caletta di Albana

A secluded rocky cove located near Portovenere, accessible primarily by boat or via narrow coastal trails.
