Historic Fortifications and Ruins

This collection highlights the defensive architecture and archaeological heritage of Sarajevo's Stari Grad and the surrounding heights. It focuses on the 18th-century Vratnik walled city system, including the Yellow and White bastions built for strategic defense. Bistrik Kula

A former Austro-Hungarian military fortification on Mount Trebević that was converted into Bosnia and Herzegovina's first and only astronomical observatory in the late 1960s.
