Vigan's Historic Landmarks

Syquia Mansion of President Elpidio Quirino

The stone-and-wood ancestral home of former President Elpidio Quirino’s wife. It houses 19th-century antiques, Ming dynasty porcelain, and oil paintings, illustrating the lifestyle of the Vigan principalia during the Spanish colonial era.

Crisologo Museum

Located in the former residence of Congressman Floro S. Crisologo, this museum displays personal belongings, legal documents, and memorabilia related to the prominent Crisologo family and the political history of Ilocos Sur.

National Museum of the Philippines - Ilocos

Gregoria M. Rivera Memorial Library & Museum

Burgos Museum

The ancestral home and birthplace of Father Jose Burgos, one of the three martyred GOMBURZA priests. The museum features his personal effects, religious artifacts, and ethnic displays from the Tingguian tribe.

Isabelo De Los Reyes

A monument dedicated to the writer, labor activist, and senator known as the Father of Philippine Folklore. It commemorates his role in co-founding the Iglesia Filipina Independiente and his intellectual contributions.
