Badulla Essentials

Badulla serves as a gateway to Sri Lanka’s Uva Province, characterized by dramatic elevation changes and colonial-era engineering. Natural landmarks include the 190-foot Dunhinda Falls and the challenging ascent of Ella Rock. Nine Arches Bridge Viewpoint

Elevated vantage points overlooking a 91-meter-long railway viaduct. Built in 1921 entirely from stone, brick, and cement, the bridge stands 24 meters high without steel support.
