This temple complex, located on the highest mountain of Bali, is the most important one of all Balinese temples. It is also the largest one - consisting of 22 temples and many shrines. It is often crowded with tourists so consider visiting it early in the morning.
Donations are requested when you enter the temple.
It's reportedly said that you cannot enter without a guide who will request money.
