Lucca Unmissables

Lucca’s historic center is defined by its massive 16th-century walls, which remain completely intact and serve as a public park. The city’s Roman origins are visible at Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, an oval square built upon the foundations of an ancient stadium, and the church of San Michele in Foro, located on the former Roman forum.
