Tablelands Essentials

The Atherton Tablelands, a fertile plateau in Far North Queensland, features a diverse landscape of volcanic maars, ancient rainforests, and historic mining towns. This collection highlights geological wonders like the Mount Hypipamee Crater and Lake Eacham, alongside botanical landmarks such as the 500-year-old Curtain Fig Tree. Millaa Millaa Falls

Heritage-listed plunge waterfall located on the Waterfall Circuit. The site features a large swimming hole surrounded by lush rainforest and tree ferns.

A massive strangler fig estimated to be over 500 years old. Its aerial roots drop 15 meters to the forest floor, creating a curtain-like appearance.

The Crater
