Viewpoints and Towers
This collection highlights the historic defensive structures and observation points of Lucerne. It features several towers of the 14th-century Musegg Wall, including the Zytturm with its 1535 clock and the Männliturm. B Wasserturm
This 34-meter-high octagonal tower was built around 1300 as part of the city fortifications. It has served as a treasury, archive, prison, and torture chamber. It stands in the Reuss river adjacent to the Chapel Bridge.
C Zytturm
Built in 1442, this tower houses the city’s oldest clock, dating from 1535. By ancient privilege, this clock strikes the hour exactly one minute before all other public clocks in Lucerne.
D Männliturm
A 33-meter-high tower on the Musegg Wall, named after the "Männli" (little man), an iron figure holding a flag on the roof. It is open to the public and offers views of the city and lake.

F Rathausturm

Schirmerturm
This 15th-century tower on the Musegg Wall functions as a gate tower. It provides a passage through the historic fortifications and is accessible to visitors during the summer months.
