Parga Unmissables

Parga’s landscape is defined by its strategic fortifications and mythological significance. This collection includes the 11th-century Venetian Castle and Ali Pasha’s fortress in Anthousa, alongside the ancient Nekromanteion, once believed to be the gateway to the underworld. Natural sites range from the cold springs of the Acheron River to the sheltered bays of Valtos and Lichnos. Cultural heritage is preserved at the Paragaea olive oil museum, housed in a restored 19th-century factory.
