Iconic Lighthouses of Shetland

The Shetland Islands feature a network of historic and modern lighthouses designed to guide vessels through the treacherous waters of the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Eshaness Lighthouse is situated on the Northmavine peninsula in the north-west of the Shetland Islands, Scotland.

The North Lighthouse on Fair Isle is a 14-metre-tall tower engineered by David and Charles Stevenson and established in 1892.
