Heritage and culture in Bükk Mountains

Castle of Diósgyőr

The Castle of Diósgyőr is a medieval castle in the historical town of Diósgyőr which is now part of the Northern Hungarian city Miskolc.

Bélapátfalvi ciszterci apátsági templom

Romanesque Cistercian abbey church founded in 1232. It remains Hungary's only intact medieval Cistercian monastery church, featuring a distinctive rose window and a facade of alternating red and white stone at the foot of the Bél-kő mountain.

De la Motte-kastély

Late Baroque manor house in Noszvaj built between 1774 and 1778. The estate is known for its Zopf-style architecture, refined interior frescoes, and a surrounding English garden.
