Guatemala City’s urban landscape is defined by a collection of monuments reflecting the nation's political, religious, and colonial history. This selection includes the Eiffel-inspired Tower of the Reformer, which stands 71 meters tall in Zone 9, and Plaza España, featuring an 18th-century fountain originally located in the central square. Many of these sites, particularly those along Avenida Las Américas, commemorate international relations and key historical figures like Pope John Paul II and Justo Rufino Barrios.
