Jizera Mountain Huts and Chalets
The Jizera Mountains feature a network of historic mountain huts and functional shelters positioned along key hiking and cross-country skiing routes. This collection includes the 1931 Giant Barrel restaurant near Lázně Libverda and the former Clam-Gallas hunting lodge, Šámalova chata. Across the Polish border, Chatka Górzystów occupies the last remaining building of the defunct village of Groß-Iser. These sites provide essential services ranging from full-service dining and lodging to basic wooden rain shelters at high-altitude passes like Předěl and Sedlo Holubníku.
