Lonjsko Polje Nature Park encompasses the largest protected wetland in the Danube basin, characterized by expansive floodplains and traditional Posavina wooden architecture. The area features Čigoč, the first European Village of Storks, and preservation sites for indigenous breeds like the Posavina horse.
