The Šibenik-Knin region contains some of Croatia's most significant hydrological and geological landmarks. Krka National Park features a series of travertine barriers, including the Skradinski Buk and Roški slap waterfalls. Nearby, the Cetina River rises from a karst spring over 150 meters deep, known for its vibrant blue hue. The landscape is framed by the Dinara mountain range, home to Sinjal, the country's highest peak at 1,831 meters, and diverse karst formations like the Krčić waterfall and Lake Visovac.
