Târgu Mureș Must-Sees

Târgu Mureș showcases a blend of medieval defense and early 20th-century Art Nouveau. This collection features the 17th-century fortress with its seven bastions and the landmark Palace of Culture, renowned for its stained-glass Hall of Mirrors. Cetatea medievală

A 17th-century fortification featuring seven bastions connected by thick brick walls. It spans over four hectares and houses the city's oldest Reformed Church, alongside various historical exhibitions and cultural spaces.

Palatul Culturii

An Art Nouveau landmark completed in 1913, famous for its Hall of Mirrors decorated with stained-glass panels depicting Transylvanian legends. The building houses a concert hall, the Mureș County Library, and several art galleries.

György Bernády was the mayor of Târgu Mureș twice, 1900–1912 and 1926–1929.

Biserica Reformată Mică
