Beaches in Terre-de-Haut
Best Beaches & Bays
Terre-de-Haut’s coastline features a variety of environments, from the coconut groves and white sands of Pompierre Beach to the 15-meter basalt columns of Pain de Sucre. Grande Anse offers a large bay for swimming, while Anse Crawen provides a secluded, less-frequented stretch of sand on the island's southern tip. The Bay of Marigo serves as a central family-friendly spot, completing a circuit of the island's volcanic and coral-sand formations.
Pompierre Beach
Interestingly, this beach is the most sought-after by tourists. Coconut trees and white sand make it beautiful in a kitschy way.
Plage du Pain de Sucre
Small beach at the base of 15-meter-high basaltic columns. Features clear waters and a volcanic landscape typical of the Les Saintes archipelago.
Anse Crawen Beach
Off the beaten path. Slightly hard to reach but definitely worth taking the time and coming here.
Grande Anse Beach
Oh sweet summer...Spending at least a day at this bay with the fabulous beach is a must. Don't forget to take your goggles.
Bay of Marigo
Sweet times are those when the family get together and spends some enjoyable time. You can do it on this famous beach.
