This branch of the National Roman Museum is a must-see for every lover of art and history. Marvel at the extensive collection of Roman and Greek sculptures, to be found here. You can even see a copy of the world-famous statue of Athena Parthenos.
Situated in the beautiful Altemps palace, which is an excellent example of 15th-century architecture, the museum often gets passed over by the tourists. Thus, you can enjoy its exhibition halls, which, apart from the main collection, also feature artwork brought from Egypt, quite in peace.
