This Renaissance palace is the joint work of three most admired architects of the era - Bernini, Borromini and Maderno. The interior boasts splendid works of art, too. You can find paintings by masters like Tizian or Caravaggio here, as well as the famous "La Fornarina" painting by Raffael.
The palace gets its name from the Barberini family, who owned the estate. The Barberinis were of great importance in Rome, men from the family were even selected to the papal seat at times.
