Built on the site of a former bowling alley, this overwhelming building opened in 2014. It was designed by the famous visionary architect Frank O. Gehry from Los Angeles in close cooperation with Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH, the world's largest luxury goods company.
The design was inspired by the Grand Palais and the Jardin d'Acclimatation, which is connected to the Louis Vuitton Foundation building. The facade is made of 3,600 glass panels and 19,000 concrete panels.
If you are not into modern art which is on display, the building also features several terraces which offer wonderful panoramic views.
