The Royal Observatory has played an important role in astronomical science. It has been turned into a museum which displays astronomical and navigational tools.
If you're not interested in that, you can at least enjoy the spectacular views of London from here. The admission to the observatory also includes the Meridian Line and the Great Equatorial Telescope.
Summer opening hours of some venues are till 6 pm.
Last admission: half an hour before closing.
