This early Baroque structure, built between 1597 and 1619, is recognized as the first building in Poland designed entirely in this architectural style. It is the largest church in the city by seating capacity and is notable for its ornate facade adorned with sculptures of the 12 apostles. The building was designed by the architect Giovanni Maria Bernardoni, who refined the original plans of Józef Britius.
The interior is characterized by rich stucco decorations and houses the National Pantheon. Within the crypts lie the remains of several notable figures, including the Jesuit priest Piotr Skarga. Since 1842, the building has served the Catholic All Saints parish and remains an active place of worship.
A distinctive feature of the church is the longest Foucault pendulum in Poland, which is used to demonstrate the Earth's rotation. The site is open to the public, and demonstrations of the pendulum are conducted regularly.
