Iconic Monuments & Memorials

Tirana’s history is etched into its public spaces through a diverse collection of monuments spanning the Ottoman, monarchist, and communist eras. Clock Tower

Built in 1822 by Haxhi Et'hem Bey, this 35-meter Ottoman-style tower features a spiral staircase of 90 steps. It serves as a primary symbol of Tirana.

Bunker

A small concrete bunker preserved as part of the Postbllok (Checkpoint) memorial, representing the thousands of defensive structures built during the communist regime of Enver Hoxha.
