Żurrieq Essentials

Żurrieq, one of Malta's oldest settlements, is defined by its architectural heritage and rugged coastal landscape. This selection features the 18th-century Xarolla Windmill, one of the few restored working mills on the island, and the adjacent Paleo-Christian catacombs. Religious landmarks include the grand Baroque Parish Church of St. Catherine and the nearby Safi Parish Church. Nature and recreation are represented by the dramatic cliffs of Wied il-Bassasa, the panoramic vistas from Gnien il-Gibjun, and the family-oriented Playmobil Fun Park.

Il-Mitħna tax-Xarolla
