Full-day Sightseeing Tour of Stockholm

If you enjoy sightseeing and visiting museums, then this itinerary is just for you. If you spend only one day in Stockholm, this trip will take you around all the must-sees.

Your trip starts in the Vasa Museum which displays the oldest preserved ship in the world. After you leave the museum, stroll Strandvägen, a long street lined with palace-like houses designed by some of the major architects of its day. When you arrive on Sergel's Square, note the huge glass obelisk designed by Edwin Öhrström. This 37.5-meter-high artwork is called Kristallvertikalaccent and it was installed in the middle of Sergel fountain in 1974.

Next, explore the Old Town of Stockholm with its colorful houses. See the Stockholm Palace, visit the Nobel Museum and finish your day at the Riddarholmen Church.
