Albufeira's central coastline features a series of interconnected sandy beaches characterized by golden limestone cliffs and clear Atlantic waters. This selection includes the historic Fisherman’s Beach, accessible directly from the Old Town, and the west-facing Tunnel Beach with its distinctive rock formations. These beaches are connected by a seaside promenade and offer seasonal lifeguards and direct access to the town's pedestrian center via tunnels and escalators.

Praia dos Pescadores

Located directly in front of Albufeira's Old Town, this beach historically served as the landing point for the local fishing fleet. It is accessible via an outdoor escalator descending from the clifftop.

Praia dos Alemães

A wide stretch of sand situated on the eastern edge of the main bay. It is bordered by low ochre cliffs and offers a quieter alternative to the central urban beaches.
