Furmina Castle

A 14th-century tower house built by the O'Brien clan on the highest point of Inisheer. It was later captured by the O'Flaherty clan in the 1580s and remains a prominent landmark overlooking the island's harbor.

Viking Burial Mound

An archaeological site on Inishmore containing the remains of a Viking warrior. Discovered with grave goods including a sword and shield boss, the site dates back to the 9th or 10th century.

A 12th-century church ruin dedicated to St. Ciaran of Clonmacnoise. The site includes a decorated cross-slab with a hole used for traditional contracts and several early Christian grave markers.
