Best Campgrounds

These camping destinations provide direct access to Arches National Park and the Colorado River corridor. Devils Garden offers the only sites within the park boundaries, situated among sandstone fins near major trailheads. Along Highway 128, BLM-managed sites like Goose Island and Drinks Canyon provide riverside access and proximity to the Moab Canyon Pathway. While park sites require advanced reservations, the surrounding BLM campgrounds operate primarily on a first-come, first-served basis, offering vault toilets and fire rings in a high-desert environment.

A

Camp Site

The only campground within Arches National Park, featuring 51 sites situated among sandstone fins. Located near the Devils Garden trailhead, it provides access to Landscape Arch and includes potable water and flush toilets.

Goose Island Campground

A BLM-managed riverside campground located two miles from the Arches National Park entrance. It offers 20 individual sites, vault toilets, and direct access to the paved Moab Canyon Pathway.

Canyon Wren

A large group campsite located within the Devils Garden area of Arches National Park. It accommodates up to 35 people and requires advanced reservations.

Moose Park Campground

Small Bureau of Land Management camping area situated along the Colorado River corridor on Highway 128.

Drinks Canyon

BLM campground along the Colorado River featuring 17 sites for tents and small trailers. The site includes vault toilets and fire rings but does not provide drinking water.
