Heritage Sites in Prora

This collection highlights the architectural and archaeological heritage of Rügen's coast, centered on the Colossus of Prora. Built between 1936 and 1939 as a Nazi 'Strength through Joy' (KdF) resort, the 4.5-kilometer complex remains one of the world's largest examples of National Socialist architecture.
