Church of St. John the Baptist

14th-century Gothic church at the edge of Lake Bohinj. Features well-preserved medieval frescoes, a 17th-century wooden head of St. John the Baptist, and three Baroque altars.

Sveti Duh

Located on the south shore of Lake Bohinj, this Baroque church was built in 1743. It features a distinctive shingled roof and exterior frescoes.

Cerkev sv. Pavla

Situated in Stara Fužina, this church has late Gothic origins with 18th-century modifications. It occupies a hilltop position overlooking the village and traditional Alpine cemetery.

Cerkev sv. Nikolaja

The main parish church of Bohinjska Bistrica. Originally built in 1520, the structure was significantly reconstructed in the 19th century following a major fire.

Kapela sv. Antona Puščavnika

A high-altitude mountain chapel located on the Uskovnica plateau, serving the local pastoral communities and hikers in the Julian Alps.

Cerkev Marijinega vnebozetja

Located in Bitnje, this church dates back to the 16th century. It features a simple architectural style characteristic of rural Bohinj and a Baroque-influenced interior.

Cerkev sv. Marjete

An 18th-century church in the village of Jereka, known for its prominent bell tower and its location on a scenic terrace overlooking the upper Bohinj valley.

Cerkev sv. Ahaca

A Gothic church in Nemški Rovt dating to the early 16th century. It preserves traditional architectural elements typical of the region's older religious structures.

Župnijska cerkev povišanja sv. Križa

A significant Baroque church in Srednja Vas. It contains detailed interior decorations, including frescoes by Franc Karun and ornate 18th-century altars.

Kapelica Matere Božje Hud klanec
