Natural Wonders of Krkonoše
The Krkonoše Mountains host some of Central Europe's most significant natural landmarks. This selection features Pančavský vodopád, the highest waterfall in the Czech Republic, and the symbolic source of the Elbe River marked by a stone wall displaying regional coats of arms. Visitors can also explore the granite Słonecznik rock formation on the Polish border and the Mumlavský vodopád, known for its deep potholes carved into the granite riverbed. Słonecznik
A 12-meter-high granite rock formation located on the northern slope of the Smogornia peak. It serves as a prominent landmark on the main ridge trail between the Czech Republic and Poland.
Dziki Wodospad
A regulated waterfall on the Łomnica River in Karpacz, created by a dam built in the early 20th century to prevent flooding. It is situated near the lower station of the chairlift to Kopa.
Pramen Labe
The symbolic source of the Elbe River at an altitude of 1,387 meters. The site features a stone wall decorated with the coats of arms of cities through which the river flows toward the North Sea.
Huťský vodopád
A 20-meter-high cascading waterfall on the Huťský stream near Rokytnice nad Jizerou. Historically, its name refers to the glassworks that once operated in the surrounding valley.
