Natural Wonders of Krkonoše

The Krkonoše Mountains host some of Central Europe's most significant natural landmarks. A 12-meter-high granite rock formation located on the northern slope of the Smogornia peak. It serves as a prominent landmark on the main ridge trail between the Czech Republic and Poland.

A regulated waterfall on the Łomnica River in Karpacz, created by a dam built in the early 20th century to prevent flooding. It is situated near the lower station of the chairlift to Kopa.

Pramen Labe D

Pramen Labe

The symbolic source of the Elbe River at an altitude of 1,387 meters. The site features a stone wall decorated with the coats of arms of cities through which the river flows toward the North Sea.

Huťský vodopád

A 20-meter-high cascading waterfall on the Huťský stream near Rokytnice nad Jizerou. Historically, its name refers to the glassworks that once operated in the surrounding valley.

A powerful waterfall near Harrachov, falling nearly 10 meters over wide granite steps. The riverbed is notable for large circular potholes, known as giant's kettles, carved into the rock by swirling water.

Labský vodopád G

Labský vodopád

Located near the Labská bouda mountain hut, this 35-meter-high waterfall drops into the head of the Labský důl valley. It was historically enhanced by a small reservoir used to increase water flow for tourists.
