Hallstatt Viewpoints and Peaks
Hallstatt’s landscape is defined by the dramatic interplay between the Hallstätter See and the Dachstein massif. This collection features the Skywalk "World Heritage View," a platform positioned 350 meters above the village, alongside high-altitude peaks like the 2,934-meter Niederer Dachstein and the 2,651-meter Niederes Kreuz. Goaßerbankerl
A traditional wooden resting bench located on the hiking trails above the town, providing a direct view of the Hallstätter See.
World Heritage View
A triangular viewing platform, also known as the Hallstatt Skywalk, extending 12 meters from the mountainside. Located 350 meters above the village, it is accessible via the Salzbergbahn funicular and is wheelchair friendly.
C Niederer Dachstein
A 2,934-meter peak within the Dachstein Mountains, situated southwest of Hallstatt near the main Dachstein summit.
D Niederes Kreuz
