Dalt Vila UNESCO Heritage

Ibiza's Dalt Vila is a fortified acropolis recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its exceptionally preserved Renaissance military architecture. Enclosed within 16th-century defensive walls, the district contains the Catalan Gothic Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Ibiza Town Hall, located in a former Dominican convent. The area also includes the Puig des Molins Monographic Museum, which protects an extensive Punic necropolis. These landmarks illustrate the island's strategic historical importance to Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish civilizations.
