Lakes and waterfalls in Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park features some of the most striking water formations in the Canadian Rockies. This list includes Athabasca Falls, known for its powerful 23-meter drop over hard quartzite rock, and the multi-tiered Sunwapta Falls fed by the Athabasca Glacier. Maligne Lake offers views of Spirit Island and is the second-largest glacial-fed lake in the world. Near the Jasper townsite, Pyramid Lake sits at the base of Pyramid Mountain, while Tangle Creek Falls provides an accessible multi-level cascade directly beside the Icefields Parkway.
