Best beaches in Koh Samui

Koh Samui’s coastline ranges from the high-energy shores of Chaweng Yai and Lamai, known for their dense concentration of beach clubs and shopping, to the family-oriented, several-kilometer stretch of Bophut. In the north, Mae Nam and Ban Po offer quieter environments favored by long-term residents and backpackers. For swimming and snorkeling, smaller coves like Silver Beach and Coral Cove feature granite boulders and clear waters, contrasting with the island's expansive main strips.
