Mount Gambier’s volcanic landscape is defined by dormant Maar volcanoes and the striking Blue Lake. These vantage points offer views of the 75-meter-deep crater, which transforms from steel grey to vivid cobalt blue between November and March. A Centenary Tower Lookout
Opened in 1904 at 190 meters above sea level, this historic tower provides the highest viewpoint in Mount Gambier. On clear days, the vista extends to the Southern Ocean and across the volcanic landscape.
Blue Lake Lookout
