Pollença Essentials

Pollença spans from the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana to the dramatic cliffs of the Formentor peninsula. The historic center features the Roman Bridge and the 365-step Calvari stairway leading to an 18th-century chapel. Nearby, the Puig de Maria offers a medieval monastery and panoramic views. Along the coast, the Cap de Formentor Lighthouse marks the island's northernmost point, while the 16th-century Talaia d’Albercutx watchtower provides a vantage point over the bays of Pollença and Alcúdia. Sandy stretches like Port de Pollença and Cala Molins complement the rugged stone coves of Formentor.

Mirador des Colomer

Located 200 meters above sea level, this stone-walled lookout offers views of the Mediterranean and the rocky islet of El Colomer. A paved pathway leads along the cliff edge.

Talaia d'Albercutx

A 16th-century defensive watchtower situated 380 meters above sea level. Originally built to warn of pirate attacks, it offers 360-degree views of the Formentor peninsula and the bays of Pollença and Alcúdia.

Santa Maria dels Àngels, Pollenca

Located in the main square, this parish church was founded by the Knights Templar in 1236 and largely rebuilt in the 18th century. It features a large rose window and a significant Baroque altarpiece.

Cala Molins

The largest of the four beaches in Cala Sant Vicenç, featuring fine sand and turquoise water. The cove is framed by the distinctive Cavall Bernat mountain ridge.
