Beaches in Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago’s coastline offers diverse environments, from the rainforest-fringed North Coast to the Atlantic-facing East Coast. Maracas Beach and Las Cuevas Bay provide sheltered swimming and scenic views of the Northern Range. On the east, Mayaro Bay stretches for nine miles, while Manzanilla is known for its long rows of coconut palms. Toco Beach serves as a site for leatherback turtle nesting and surfing, while smaller bays like Tyrico offer more secluded settings.

This gorgeous beach is surrounded by lush rainforest. Perhaps the most scenic beach on all of the islands.

Even though waters may be rough at times here, this beach is still wonderful and possibly one of the best on the islands.

Mayaro Bay stretches for nine miles on the east coast of the island of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Tyrico Beach

This small beach with brown sands has its own charm - a terrific place for some sun and sea bathing in private.

Macqueripe Beach

Small, sheltered bay in Chaguaramas featuring clear waters suitable for snorkeling. The shore is accessible via a paved walkway and is surrounded by lush valley terrain.

Las Cuevas Bay

A popular sheltered beach with great swimming conditions, but there are also some caves for you to explore if you get bored.

Toco Beach

A picture-perfect beach that is almost always deserted. Great for surfing, enjoying the shade of the palm trees and watching turtles nesting.

Vessigny Beach

Located on the west coast near La Brea, featuring the calm, shallow waters of the Gulf of Paria. The site includes public facilities, picnic areas, and a snack bar.
