Sacristy

Located on the south side of Saint Peter’s Basilica, this 18th-century structure designed by Carlo Marchionni houses the Treasury Museum. It contains a collection of liturgical objects, papal tiaras, and historical artifacts, including the 6th-century Crux Vaticana.

Vatican Art Gallery

Also known as the Pinacoteca Vaticana, this gallery houses a chronological collection of 460 paintings from the 12th to the 19th centuries. Highlights include Raphael’s "The Transfiguration," Caravaggio’s "The Entombment of Christ," and Leonardo da Vinci’s "St. Jerome in the Desert."
